Safavieh is an upscale global home furnishings, rugs & accessories company looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated and organized ASsistant Office Manager to join our team. Our store is located in Manhasset- this is a fully onsite position only.
This is a great opportunity for a someone to make significant contributions to a well-established, high volume store. This position will demand a dynamic skill set with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and stay organized.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Entering transfers.
- Handling customer’s inquiries and complaints as needed.
- Tagging furniture on sales floor and ensuring accurate merchant information.
- Communicating on a daily basis with the warehouse department to ensure effective delivery operations.
- Planning and delegating responsibilities to store employees.
- Managing sales orders and cash receipts,
- Running commission statements.
Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication .
- Ideal candidate posses the ability to multitask and work well under deadlines
- College degree preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience within the home furnishings/and or related industry preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- $25.00 per hour
