Safavieh is an upscale global home furnishings, rugs & accessories company looking for a proactive, personable, highly motivated and organized Photo Retoucher to join our office located in Port Washington, NY. This is a fully onsite position only. 

This is a great opportunity for a someone with a strong background in Retouching  to make significant contributions to a well-established, high volume photo studio. This position will demand a dynamic skill set of editing and color correction, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and stay organized. Most of your duties will revolve around retouching e-commerce lifestyles / silhouettes of home furnishings.

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Retouching a high volume of product images
• Organization and content management
• Make quick, accurate color corrections
• Efficient communication between multiple departments
• Uphold Photo Department standards and practices
• Troubleshoot issues independently and as a team
• Content management

MANDITORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4 years professional retouching experience
• Solid understanding of masking, path cutting and batch processing
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom and Capture One
• Comfortable in a Mac based environment
• Knowledge of color theory
• Strict attention to detail

COMPENSATION:

• $20.00 -$24.00
• Full time position
